About My Practice

I am currently under the supervision of T. Michael Henderson, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in both Kansas and Missouri.  I work with individuals, couples, and groups ranging from adolescent to older adult.  My approach is focused on mindful presence, self-compassion, and resilience-based development.  Areas of focus include:

            - Anxiety and depression

            - Life transitions and personal growth

            - Gender and sexual identities

            - Disability and disease

            - Addictions and substance abuse

            - Spirituality and relationship issues

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients develop healthier and more fulfilling relationships.  I am completing my Masters of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling and will continue my education with a Ph.D. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  I focus on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, compulsivity, life transitions, personal growth, conflict resolution, gender and sexual identity, spiritual conflict, relationship problems, healthy life choices, disease management, physical and sexual trauma, and addiction.
